A luxurious blend of 45% US alpaca & 15% bamboo that is then plied with 40% linen
American alpacas are known for their careful breeding and four-star living conditions in the foothills of the Cascades in Oregon or pastures in upstate New York. Our alpaca fleece comes from small family ranches and is carefully processed in family-run spinning mills near Saratoga, NY, and Buffalo, WY. We add a touch of bamboo to facilitate the spinning of the fine alpaca fiber.
Dyed or natural linen from Lithuania is plied with the alpaca yarn to give it body, strength and color highlights creating a 3-season yarn for light-weight warmth and a luxurious drape.
